This section of the site covers the R01 subject offered by the Chartered Insurance Institute. It covers in detail the regulation which governs financial services in the UK along with the key financial planning topics such as retail products, the life stages of clients and ethical behaviour. The syllabus areas are:
- An overview of the financial services industry
- Financial Solutions for the retail client
- Laws & Legal Concepts within financial services
- The regulation of financial services from a UK and EU perspective
- Core regulatory principles and rules
- Client advising skills
- The use of principles and outcomes based regulation by the FCA
- Ethical behaviour
The examination is comprised of 100 questions, 67 of which are multi choice with the remaining questions multi response. R01 is a two hour examination and our learning documents and multi choice question bank are designed to give you a great platform from which to take the examination.
