This learning programme is designed to provide you with the key knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours to fulfil your role as a paraplanner. The starting point is an assumption that you are brand new to the role and therefore learning from the beginning. Our programme will take you through all the various tasks required of you by way of trainer led input, self study, case study work and examination.
There are numerous definitions of the role of a paraplanner and one can select whichever one appeals, however, we think the following set of words encapsulates the role perfectly:
A paraplanner carries out the administrative duties of a financial planner . The function of a paraplanner is to allow financial planners to focus on working closely with clients to identify/review their financial objectives. Paraplanning includes analysing clients’ needs, and researching and recommending suitable solutions aligned to those needs.
